Bro Split does not collect or store personal information. There are no user accounts, no email addresses, and no passwords. Sessions are stateless — you are identified only by a session code.
Participant names and item data are stored in Supabase (our database provider) for the life of the session. Sessions expire automatically. We do not link this data to any real-world identity.
Receipt photos you upload are stored in Supabase Storage and are accessible via a public URL for the duration of your session. Images may be deleted after the session expires.
Receipt images are sent to OpenAI for OCR analysis. By using Bro Split you accept that this data is processed under OpenAI's privacy policy (openai.com/privacy). We do not store your images longer than necessary.
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use Bro Split (page views, clicks, session replays). These tools may set cookies. We do not run ads, sell data, or work with data brokers. Analytics data is aggregated and never linked to your identity.
